How to check this park

Yallock-Bulluk Marine and Coastal Park is part of an Aboriginal cultural landscape in the traditional Country of the Bunurong Peoples. It combines about 40 kilometres of coastal reserves from San Remo to Inverloch into a single park of dramatic cliffs, sandy coves, wetlands and underwater reefs, with the stated intent of better protecting this stretch of Bunurong Country while improving access, facilities and recreation.

Every recorded condition here is a construction notice rather than a closure of the coast, and the distinction matters when you are deciding whether to drive down. The Eagles Nest lookout is closed for upgrades, while the car park and beach access remain open and the beach is reached by the walking track from the car park - with short, temporary car park closures when large materials are delivered. At the Punchbowl, only the lookout itself is closed; the car park and beach remain accessible. At The Arch and Shanty Lane at Kilcunda, a new lookout incorporating Bunurong artwork, interpretive signage and visitor seating is being built while the existing trail and car park stay open.

Before visiting, check the official Parks Victoria page for the current state of each lookout, and follow on-site directional and detour signage, which is what reflects the works on the day. This site’s last-check time reflects automated retrieval, not an on-site inspection, and no matching condition here does not mean every beach access, car park or clifftop path between San Remo and Inverloch is open.
